Long term collaborators Ryan Williams and Andrew Woolf have performed alongside each other in a variety of line-ups, dating back to their days together as students at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. This duo represents a distillation of their musical relationship, featuring original compositions and arrangements written especially for this format. They craft a full, varied and atmospheric musical world, whose textures range from multi-layered, sensuous soundscapes, to delicate, contrapuntal melodies. They recently recorded an album, due to be released in 2019.

“Matched the spacious flow of Andrew Woolf’s mellow tenor with Ryan Williams’ hanging chordal backdrops… Quiet gritty explorations… sparse, peppery interplay… heartfelt momentum.” London Jazz News
